VIOLET DAIQUIRI

The daiquiri is a type of cocktail made from white rhum and lemon or lime juice. The name daiquiri is also the name of a beach near Santiago, Cuba and an iron mine in the area. It was invented by an american engineer who worked in the mine, Jennings Cox, who created this drink when his gin ran out and he had some guests over.

Ingredients
3 Year Old Habana Rum (4cl)
Fresh Lime Juice (1cl)
Drop of Marasqui­no Liquor
1 Drop of Violet Liquor

Preparation:

Place the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake and pour into a long drink glass. Decorate with fruits and if desired, add crushed ice.
